10-year-old boy cracks Java exam in 18 minutes, scores 100 per cent!

October 5, 2015: In a remarkable feat, 10-year-old Ronil Shah, a student of EuroSchool, Ahmedabad, scored 100 per cent in JAVA Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional examination conducted by US based Oracle University. Ronil is one of the youngest achievers from India to receive this accolade.

A 5th standard student of EuroSchool, Ahmedabad, Ronil’s success is extraordinary – he completed the 2hr 56min test in a record 18 minutes and cleared it in the first attempt, in the online global examination held on September 22, 2015. He is also one of the youngest achievers to hold such a certification and secure 100 per cent marks this year and is now aptly a JAVA champion!

The certification course recognises Ronil as a software developer. The JAVA certification is usually undertaken by software professionals working in the field of engineering or Information Technology.

Ronil’s fascination for programming and coding is evident as he is one of the only three 10-year-olds at his local training academy. His thinking skills and analytical skills are as much developed as an Engineer or any other Software Professional.  Ronil has been learning different commuter programming languages, including BASIC, HTML, C, C++ since he was 4-years-old.
