17 persons killed in pandal collapse in Barmer, Rajasthan

Barmer: In a tragic incident,  17 people are reported to have died due to the fall in Pandal due to the storm in Jasol town, near Balotra, Barmer in Rajasthan. According to the ANI, 24 people have also been injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The dead included 11 men, 2 women and 1 child. According to official sources, 14 people have died. In which 12 have been identified. It is being said that a large pandal was installed for the Ram Katha program in Jasol. A few parts of the pandal fell from the strong rain Sunday afternoon and there was stampede.

According to the information, people came here to hear the Ram Katha. Meanwhile, the tents fell due to heavy rain and storm. Due to this, the current spread. Due to which 17 people died. Many people were injured. The figure of the number of dead can increase further. State’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has ordered the inquiry into the incident. Apart from this, CM Gahlot will go to Barmer on Monday. During this time he will also meet the relatives of the dead.
