69 students felicitated with Venus Young and Budding Artist Awards
Pune, February 19, 2020 : The outstanding drawing and painting skills of 69 students were appreciated with special awards in an event organized by Venus traders and Kokuyo Camlin recently.
In this event, 34 students that were chosen in the merit list of the State Elementary Drawing Examination and 35 students chosen in the merit list of the Intermediate Drawing Examination were respectively felicitated with Venus Young Artist and Venus Budding Artist awards. All these students belong to Pune. This year, over 7 lac students had participated in these drawing exams conducted by the state government.
The awards were given at the hands of renowned artists Umakant Kanade and Shrikant Kadam in the presence of Surendra Karamchandani of Venus Traders, artist Sudhakar Chavhan and Prem Avale, Sunil Dasvekar of Camlin along with Shripad Bhalerao.
In the same event, a 5 year old artist Avani Pandit was felicitated with the Venus Child Artist Award.
