Over 10,000 runners participated for the 2nd edition of the IDBI Federal Kolkata full Marathon 2018
Sachin gave his autograph to at least 100 enthusiastic runners at the start line, who refused to move without the memorabilia. Others were happy to simply feature in his selfies.
Sachin Tendulkar, Face of the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Kolkata Full Marathon said, “This was a fantastic turnout; I must congratulate IDBI Federal for organizing such events that allow India to become fit. Most importantly I was amazed to see so many kids turn up at the event today. That’s a good sign for the nation. We must learn from these young, energetic kids who are on the track today and try to catch up with them. This is because health is the real wealth.’’

Half Marathon Women (Age 35+ -45) – T. Shering Lamu Bhutia, Anyali Das, Shikha Agarwal
