Dr Ajit Golwilkar joins AG Diagnostics

Pune, February 14, 2018: Dr. Ajit Golwilkar, known for his pioneering efforts in the field of medical diagnostic services will now be working with AG Diagnostics, an all new, state-of-the-art diagnostics set up that has come up on Bhandarkar Road. Dr Golwilkar recently parted ways with Golwilkar Metropolis and will now be working as the Chief Executive Officer with AG Diagnostics.

An announcement to this effect was made by the members of the Board of Directors of AG Diagnostics during a Press Conference held in the city today. Dr. Manisha Patwardhan, Dr. Madhuwanti Abhyankar and Mr. Milind Deore, directors of AG Diagnostics were present on the occasion. Dr. Ajit Golwilkar and his daughters Dr. Awanti Golwilkar- Mehendale and Dr. Vinanti Golwilkar- Patankar were also present. Dr. Awanti and Dr. Vinanti both would now be working as the consultant pathologists at AG Diagnostics.

The main centre of AG diagnostics has come up on Bhandarkar Road opposite TVS Showroom. Spread across 15000 square feet the centre is loaded with latest equipments required for all major medical investigations in pathology and other medical tests. Apart from this ultramodern centre on Bhandarkar Road, AG Diagnostics has 30 collection centres in various parts of city like Kothrud, Aundh, Sus, Pashan, Shivaji Nagar, Kalyani Nagar, Hadapsar, Kondhwa and Pimpri to name a few.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ajit Golwilkar said, “In today’s stressful lifestyle importance of pathology diagnostic tests has increased. More attention is being given to take preventive measures. For the patients who are not able to come to the diagnostic centre, we provide home collection services”, she added.

Dr. Vinanti Golwilkar- Patankar pointed out that many patients are afraid of needle prick. Thus, for the ease of blood collection it is very important to have a highly skilled Phlebotomist. About Dr. Ajit Golwilkar – Around 40 years ago he dreamt of bringing world class pathology services to the city of Pune. In the year 1978, he founded his pathology lab on Karve Road, called Golwilkar Laboratories. With his endeavour to deliver results of highest quality in shortest possible time and yet at affordable cost, his name became synonymous with quality laboratory services.
