Pune police recovers 35 stolen bikes worth Rs 10.17 lakhs

Pune – Crime Branch’s property cell sleuths of Pune city police have arrested three persons and recovered 35 stolen bikes worth Rs 10.17 lakhs from their possession.

The arrested persons are Sachin Baliram Salunke (32) of Chakan, Samadhan Hanumant Jadhav and Mansingh Mohan Salunke, both residents of Borgaon in Ausa taluka of Latur district.

Police said that they used to steal bike from Pimpri, Bhosari, Rajgurunagar, Nigdi and other places in Pune district and then sell the bikes without papers for as low as Rs 5,000 in Marathwada areas.
