Rath Yatra in Pimpri by Sadhu Vaswani Mission

Pune, October 28 : It is the first time that Pimpri will have this Rath Yatra with Dada J.P. Vaswani. The Rath Yatra is being organized in commemoration of 136th birth anniversary of Sadhu Vaswani, the founder of Sadhu Vaswani Mission and marks the start of Sadhu Vaswani’s  birthday celebrations worldwide! It also marks the first anniversary of the Sadhu Vaswani Center in Pimpri, which was started on one year ago, in 2014, on the same date of 1st November.

The Rath Yatra starts at Open Lawns, near Anandpur Kutiya. It is expected to last for one hour and half hours. It will end at the Jai Hind school grounds where Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani’s will deliver a talk at 7:30pm.

Dada J.P. Vaswani will sit on the rath that is built in the form of a space-ship. The vehicle will also carry a life-like statue of Sadhu Vaswani.

The Rath Yatra is expected to draw thousands of Pimpri residents and many Pimpri leaders are expected to honour the Rath at different points of its route.

Referring to the route, Mr. Jawahar Kotwani, heading the Pimpri organising committee, said, “It is a pilgrimage. The 1.5 kilometer road passes through many temples and deities: Anandpur Satsang Dham, Durga Mata Mandir, Satyanarayan Mandir, Ganesh Mandir, Vaishno Devi Mandir, Sant Kanwarram Mandli, Baba Mulsingh Darbar Gurdwara, Shani Mandir, Sai Mandir, Gyaniji Gurudwara, and Prem Prakash Mandir. Isn’t it a true pilgrimage that too, with a saint Dada Vaswani joining us in this yatra. It is a dream come true for us in Pimpri, who have been wishing for it since many years.”
