Man kills girlfriend for blackmailing him for money

Pune – Warje Malwadi police station have arrested a 32-year-old man who allegedly killed his 19-year-old girlfriend and dumped her body in jungles of Mulshi, after she was allegedly blackmailing him for money. The deceased Prerna Kamble’s family members had lodged her missing report.

While investigating the case, police arrested Vipul Shaha of Sinhgad road and has also booked his friend Lahu Gonte of Paud.

According to police, the incident took place on March 15. After stragulating her to death, her body was thrown in Waghjai area under Paud police station of Pune rural police. The case has been transferred to Paud police station for further investigation.
