Rohini Mohite and Apoorva Patil has been selected in Indian Judo Team Datta Aphale appointed as Referee

Two participants from Maharashtra have been selected for the India contingent for the forthcoming Asia Cup Cadet and Juniors Judo Championship. Rohini Mohite is a
Judo player of Maharashtra Government’s Prabodhini will be playing under 40 Kg weight group and Apoorva Patil from Thane is under 70 Kg weight group. Mr Datta Aphale, General Secretary of Maharashtra Judo Association has been appointed as Referee for this Championship. Japan, China, Korea along with other Asian countries will be participating in this tournament. The championship will be held at Macau from 20th July.
Rohini Mohite is a resident of Satara district and has bagged Gold Medal in the tournament held recently in Lebanon. She has been trained by Dr Satish Pahade, a Coach of Amravati Prabodhini and now a day, she is practicing in Pune Prabodhini
under guidance of Madhushri Desai. Apoorva Patil, a brilliant Judo player from Thane has been excellent in many of the Nationals and she is student of Devising Rajput. A
scintillating performance is expected from these players.
Mr Datta Aphale, an international referee and General Secretary of Maharashtra Judo
Association has been appointed as Referee for this tournament. He is Media Manager in Bank of Maharashtra, Pune Head Office. Aphale has been appointed as Indian
Juniors team Coach for many times and has been with team outside India for 4 championships.
