Pune – The private bus operators under aegis of All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) have called for strike on Friday to force the government to accept their various demands pertaining to issues faced by transporters.

The school buses, office transport vehicles and intercity luxury buses will remain off the roads.

The union leaders have demanded reduction in fuel prices, exempting school buses from toll tax and reduction of insurance installment amounts on vehicles.

PMPML officials said that they ply more buses during peak hours on Friday.
