‘Demand of liberals seeking a ban on Sanatan deceitful’

Mumbai – After the arrest of Vaibhav Raut by ATS which claims to have seized explosives and country bombs from his possession, Sanatan Sanstha has refuted allegations of him being a seeker of Sanatan.

In a statement, Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson Chetan Rajhans said, “Raut had been actively involved in numerous rallies and processions organised by devout Hindu organisations. Although Raut is not a seeker of Sanatan, we believe that any Hindu working for the cause of Hindutva and for Dharma, is Sanatan’s own. Merely after the arrest of Vaibhav Raut, much before the submission of any evidence, before the completion of the investigation, and even prior to Raut being proven guilty in the court of law, the Congress and rationalist leaders and organisations have desperately begun demanding a ban on Sanatan. It is indeed surprising and one may wonder if these leaders have forgotten that, ‘the democracy and judiciary of this nation is still alive !’ Those with the blood of the Sikh genocide on their hands, and those who had muzzled the media and the Opposition by imposing an Emergency, are now attempting a similar ban on Sanatan. The rationalists are also seeking a ban on Sanatan, but it is important to note that this demand is deceitful.”

He further stated, “Sanatan can understand the difficult and testing times that Vaibhav Raut is going through. Sanatan has experienced what it feels like being innocent and dragged unnecessarily into something like a bomb blast. Deceitful attempts have been made in the past to entangle Sanatan in the Margao Bomb Blast, only to result in the acquittal of the seekers of Sanatan. Attempts were also made to get Sanatan embroiled in the murders of Dabholkar and Pansare, but 5 years into the incident, the Dabholkar family is desperately trying to stop the commencement of the trial in the court. Sanatan has always carried out its work of righteousness, effectively and in a constitutional manner. This is why the agnostic and the anti-Hindu cannot stand Sanatan.”

He also leveled allegations against Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). “If the ATS officers can place RDX in the houses of devout Hindus, as has been seen in the Malegaon Bomb Blast case, what’s to say that the same has not been repeated in the case of Vaibhav Raut ? There has been absolutely no evidence yet. Therefore, accusing Raut of being guilty would be hazardous”,Rajhans added.
