Chief Minister issues instructions to extend all possible help to the ‘Boost Your Business Initiative’ programme to be organized by Facebook organization in five districts

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has issued instructions to extend all possible help for the ‘Boost Your Business Initiative’ programme that would be conducted by Facebook in five districts of the state.

The programme would be held in Kannauj, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Lucknow between February 11 and March 11, 2016 and is aimed at training small and medium entrepreneurs to use Facebook to further their businesses.

These micro and medium entrepreneurs will be trained to maintain a long lasting relationship with their clients. The programme will begin from Kannauj and conclude in Lucknow district. Giving this information, a government spokesman said that following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the state government will extend all possible administrative assistance so that more and more businessmen are benefited out of the event.

On major points of the programme, participation of small and medium scale businessmen associations would also be facilitated and a nodal officer would be nominated in every district to make the programme a success. The state government spokesman also said that the nationwide ‘Boost Your Business Initiative’ programme of Facebook was being kick-started from Uttar Pradesh.

Under this initiative, the Facebook aims at training, through its employees, small and medium scale businessmen in India to expand their customer base for products and marketing of their services. Other than this they will also be trained and sensitized to maintain a long lasting relationship with their clients.
