Mumbai, February 16, 2016: foodpanda, India’s largest online food ordering platform is launching foodpanda Express Meals, the first of its kind quick meal service, in Delhi.  For the initial pilot phase, it will kick off with a carefully curated menu for North Indian and Chinese combo meals in collaboration with three restaurants- Happy Hakka, Tughlaq, and Biryani Art.

Elaborating on the concept of foodpanda Express Meals, Saurabh Kochhar, CEO, foodpanda India said, “We are excited to be announcing yet another innovative offering for our valued customers through the introduction of Express Meals. The thought behind this originated with the desire to make available pre-set portions of favourite combos within 30 minutes of ordering. We are also cognizant of the fact that most of our corporate users prefer ordering meal combos instead of separate meals. We are doing a pilot run in Gurgaon with 3 restaurants and are confident these curated meals will be enjoyed by our customers and also help us in the conquest of new customer base.”

With fun artworks, quirky packaging and high quality food, the meals will be priced economically within the range of INR 149 to INR 225. The combos will be served in artistic tower boxes, stored in high grade round plastic containers placed inside the towers that will eliminate the hassle of plating.  The unique element of FP meals will be that every tower box batch will have different creative artworks, to make it more fun and engaging.

foodpanda will initially accept orders between 12:00 – 4:00 PM (lunch hours), with a 30 minute express delivery.
