A book on waterproofing solutions by Jayant Devgaonkar unveiled

Pune, April 14, 2019 : Waterproofing is the key element which impacts the quality of construction. The problem of water leakage is faced not only by home buyers, but it has become an important issue for developers, contractors and architects too. Now, a waterproofing expert, Jayant Deogaonkar has come forward with a complete handbook on this subject which will be of great help to facilitate quality construction.

The book written by Deogaonkar named ‘Waterproofing Specifications and Methodology Handbook’ was unveiled on Saturday in Pune at the hands of Suhas Merchant, President, CREDAI Pune Metro and Shrikant Paranjape, Vice President, CREDAI Maharashtra.

Satish Magar, President, CREDAI National, Shantilal Kataria – Vice President CREDAI National, Developers Eeshwar Parmar, Amar Manjarekar and Aditya Javadekar, Amruta and Mandar Deogaonkar were present among the dignitaries.

Jayant Deogaonkar of Jaisons Construction Solutions said, ‘‘Because of the implementation of RERA Act, it has become compulsory for the developers to solve the complaints of home buyers related to workmanship defects. It is observed that most of these complaints are about leakages. This book will be beneficial to improve quality of the construction to a great extent. I’m writing another book about concrete flooring which will be out soon.’’
