AAP cycle rally on Maharashtra Day

The Aam Aadmi Party unit of Pimpri Chinchwad organized a cycle rally on May 1st to mark the occasion of Maharashtra Day and Labour Day as well.  The rally covered the areas of Gandhi Nagar, Nehru Nagar chowk , YCM Hospital, Sant Tukaram Nagar and Vallabh nagar areas. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from the AAP volunteers in large numbers. The primary objective of the Cycle rally is to instill the concept of a “Bike Free Day” once in a month to create environmental awareness amongst the citizens and to warn the society of the dangers of the rising pollution levels. In addition to controlling pollution levels, the party volunteers intend to highlight the health benefits of riding a bicycle as an another major benefit.

Shri. Mukund Kirdat, a senior member of the Aam Aadmi Party Maharashtra, flagged off the cycle rally from Ambedkar Chowk, Pimpri. The volunteers who attended the rally included Basavraj Kanaje, Anup Sharma, Ayyaj Sayyed, Parth Roy, Prabhat Ranjan, Wahab Shaikh, Honed Ali, Raghavendra Rao, Amarjeet Azad, Shrikant Sharma, Suraj Kumar, Randhir Naidu, Akhilesh Yadav, Mahesh Kedari, Arvind, Chetan Bendre, Dnyaneshwar Wani, etc
