‘Always Alert, Accident Avert’

Accident free roads campaign which is a yearly campaign regarding road safety was carried out in Fergusson college, Pune on 25th January, 2016.
The oath campaign is where students and the faculty members need to take an oath or write down a message related to road safety and then click a picture along with the same.
Principal of Fergusson college, Dr. Ravindra Pardeshi contributed by writing a message saying “Always Alert, Accident Avert. Take care while driving.”
Staff members and Department Heads also wrote various messages while took oaths related to their bad driving practices.
Students took active participation in this campaign.
Visually challenged students wrote down some messages related to the problems that they face on roads.
Some of the messages include, “Do not drive from the wrong side, it creates problems to us. Driving on the Footpath should be prohibited and anyone who does that should be fined, Potholes on the footpath should be fixed as it creates problems while walking.”
