Pune, June 15, 2016: Bringing new technology and innovative solutions to the customers is where Amanora differentiates itself from rest of the developers in the country. To add another first to their hat, Amanora celebrated World Environment Day, by initiating the first ever field trial of a Fuel Cell Power generating system at their Amanora Club.

Fuel Cells are being looked at as a resource to provide clean, green and reliable power with the capability to replace fossil fuel in the long term. World-wide developed nations like Japan, USA & Countries in EU have adopted fuel cell technology both for stationary as well as mobile power alternatives. This technology generates electricity at a very high efficiency and reduces green house emissions to near zero.

This technology developed jointly by Germany’s premier technology institute Fraunhofer IKTS and Pune based h2e Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. is at the cutting edge of the energy ecosystem. The company founded by Social Entrepreneurs Siddharth R Mayur and Amarnath Chakradeo, has been working on their vision to provide 24×7 clean, green, reliable & affordable energy to all for the last 8 years and they have successfully developed their second-generation prototype for field trials in India.

Amanora Park Town, has evinced interest in the fuel cell technology and want to implement this technology in individual homes, shopping malls, STP’s & other energy utilities. The focus is on reducing the emissions, increase efficiency and reduce the ultimate cost of power in the township, so that the residents will get a cleaner environment and save money as well.

h2e’s fuel cell system works on Gas (natural gas, bio gas, methane etc.) as an input fuel to generate energy at very high efficiencies while cutting down emissions to near zero levels without leaving any sludge or waste. Water and usable grade heat are the byproducts of the system. Fuel cells are known to be the only power generating technology, which can provide 24×7 clean and green energy. They have the potential to replace the grid and in the long term they are competitive to any available power generation technology in the world. h2e is the first Indian company to have such a product on ground level.

“We are very excited about the field trials of h2e’s fuel cell system and we believe that this is going to help Amanora become a 100% green township”, said Mr. J K Bhosale, Chief Operating Officer, City Corporation, Amanora Part Town.

Mr. Mayur – Managing Director & Founder of h2e. mentioned, “Our principle focus is Zero Emission Zero Discharge; we are working on a solution based approach for residential as well as agriculture sectors. Every home must be able to produce their own power and contribute to the improvement of environment.”

It is motivating to see developments like Amanora who are ready to embrace new technology & provide a platform for field trials, this means a lot to our technology validation process and I am sure we will be able to live up to Modiji’s dream of MakeInIndia and to make every village, every farm and every home energy independent, added Mr. Mayur.

h2e mini, is on display at the Amanora Club & will be undergoing field trials for a few days at Amanora.

There cannot be a better way to celebrate World Environment Day by being a responsible organization who is helping promote new ways to conserve energy & keep the environment clean.
