'Ankur' celebrates Teacher's day by presenting saplings to the Principals of various colleges in Pune

Today, on the occasion of Teacher’s day, members of ‘Ankur’ presented saplings to the principals of different colleges in and around Pune.
These colleges include MMCC, BMCC, Fergusson, Garware , Modern, Symbiosis and SP. 
The extra ordinary thing about this activity was that the saplings which were presented to the Principals were planted in decorated coconut shells.These shells were collected, washed and dried at first and then painted with the help of ‘Geru’ that is commonly known as ‘kaav’ in Marathi.
Designing was later done by ‘Chuna’ which made it look even more attractive.
“The saplings were accompanied by a card which consists of greetings and information about ‘Ankur’.
In return we received lots of best wishes for our further programs”, said Sanika Joshi who is a member of ‘Ankur’.
