Awareness drive on ‘World No Tobacco Day’ held at Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society’s MA Rangoonwala  College of Dental sciences(Pune camp).
 Lecture on ‘Addiction of Tobacco and it’s effects on Health’,”Say No to Tobacco’ delivered by Dr Renuka Nagrale.
‘8 lakh deaths per year happens because of addiction of Tobacco.But, it’s possible to quit addition,’ said Dr.Nagrale
“Hookah has 36 time more nicotine than cigarette. Hookah parlour s are increasing danger of nicotine”, said Amita Aditya (Professor, Sinhagad Dental College,certified Tobacco cessation counsellor) She spoke on occassion about cessation of Tobacco.
RA Shaikh,Registrar,MA Rangoonwala Dental College presided over function.
Dr.Vinod VC informed about Tobacco cessation cell in Rangoonwala college.
Students,staff members, professors participated in this drive.college has organised many awareness program from 25th May to 31st May 2019.
