Bajaj Allianz Life takes JFC 7 Winners to Munich
~ Five best young footballers to get training by FC Bayern Munich coaches
Pune, 24th August, 2016: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, one of India’s leading private life insurers, has announced the winners of Junior Football Camp Season 7 after a tough selection process entirely based on football skills. Five youngsters have been selected out of the top 60 talented youngsters. After 45 days of hectic campaigning, the camp this year received more than 25,000 entries through the online and offline platform.
The winners will be given the opportunity to get trained by the youth coaches of FC Bayern Munich for 5 days at international camps in Munich.
The winners are Rumais T. K (Kochi), Alphin Walter (Kochi), Chandan Nayak (Bhubaneswar), Sirish Varghese (Pune), Raunak Nagul (Pune) will be given the opportunity to get trained by the coaches of FC Bayern Munich at international camps in Munich.
These five final winners were selected by Sunil Chhetri, Captain and all-time top goal scorer for the Indian national team, Ishu – Head Coach for Star Football Academy and Vivek Nagul – Former Assistant Coach of Chennaiyan FC – ISL after several rounds of matches during the finale, held in Pune. In addition, the top 60 youngsters who played on the finale were given away trophies and certificates.

Football, is a sport which is played with pace, power and passion. Through Junior Football Camp we aimed at supporting the young football talent in India and the best selected young footballers receive training by international football coaches of FC Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in Munich.”
The Junior Football Camp is organized in association with Allianz SE, the official partner of FC Bayern Munich. The camp is held in Munich, Germany in the third week of August 2016 and gives teenagers from across the globe the opportunity to meet and get trained with the legendary FC Bayern Munich coaches on the club’s official training ground. They would also get a chance to attend a match at Allianz Arena, the unique football stadium and meet football stars from FC Bayern Munich like Thomas Mueller and others.
JFC Season 7 has been executed as an Integrated Marketing Campaign with activities happening on ground as well as on the Digital platform. 60 players have been picked from across 7 cities – Mumbai, Pune, Kochi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna and Guwahati through a stringent School Contact Program with playoffs at the school level followed by City Trials. We had a jury of ex-football players & coaches from reputed clubs at the City Trials judging the kids.
Asides to 49 talents which were selected through school contact program, we also have 11 kids been selected through www.joinjfc.in a special microsite created for aspirants to register and submit their football skills video as well as play an online quiz.
