Bank of India Inaugurates ATM at Charilam in Tripura

Mumbai, December 6, 2018 : Bank of India one of the largest nationalized banks in India recently
inaugurated an ATM at Charilam in Tripura . This ATM will be able to deliver service to more than 1000
people as there are no ATMs in the distance of three to four Kilometers.
The ATM was inaugurated by Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Respected Shri Jishu Dev
Verma. Large number of local people were present in the occasion and they have expressed happiness
for connecting ATM network in this area. Mr Dev Verma has also directed Bank of India to increase
banking facility to unbanked areas. Shri Abhijit Bose (General Manager-NBG East), Shri Amitabh
Bannerjee (Zonal Manager-Guwahati Zone) and Shri N.I.Ahmed (Chief Manager-Agartala Branch) and
many staff of Bank of India were present during the occasion.

 

As of now in the state of Tripura bank has 13 branches covering most of the districts and bank is
increasing its branch network in the state. Bank of India has always tried to connect banking facility to all
and recently received the proposal from Govt. of Tripura, financial department for opening an ATM
counter at Charilam.
