BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED SPONSORS VEHICLE TO MILITARY HOSPITAL KHADKI
Bharat Electronics Limited (A renowned Govt of India Enterprise, Ministry of Defence) under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme has sponsored welfare projects for the patients of Military Hospital, Kirkee. To channelize the scheme, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), has allocated Rupees One Crore for execution of projects viz., (a) Procurement of Basket Ball Wheel Chairs (b) Procurement of TATA Winger 14 seater vehicle (c) Procurement of rehabilitation aids to Paraplegic and Tetraplegic patients. Towards this end, a TATA Winger 14 seater vehicle has been procured and a handing over ceremony was organised on 13th July 2016 at Military Hospital Kirkee, wherein Shri M L Shanmukh, Director (HR), BEL Bengaluru handed over the keys to Brig H S Agrawal, VSM, Commandant of the hospital. Shri Nataraj Krishnappa, Director, Smt Vidya Jaganathan, Dy General Manager (CSR) and other officials of BEL Pune were in attendance. Shri Shanmukh was highly appreciative of comprehensive health services rendered by officers and men of Military Hospital Kirkee to its clientele. He also appreciated yeoman service of the hospital staff in thoroughly looking after the paraplegic/tegraplegic patients. Last but not the least, he expressed his gratitude, best wishes and every possible support towards the betterment of the hospital services.
