Bharati Vidyapeeth Engineering students shines in India International Science Festival (IISF)

Pune: First as well as third prize at the India International Science Festival (IISF) bagged by students of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune.
Siddhant Kumar Mishra and  Ram Mishra, (students of final year B.Tech Electronics Engineering ) bagged the first prize for their project “Wireless patient health monitoring and accidental crisis management system” at the Students Engineering Model Competition of IISF-2018 under “Swasth Bharat” domain .
At the same IISF 2018, under the “Nav-Bharat Nirman” domain, Mr. Kapil Agrawal and Mr. Aditiya Manethia studying in second year of B.Tech Mechanical at BV(DU)COE won third prize of INR15000/- for presenting their concept of a “Teen Cyberspace”, a diverse cyberspace or internet mainly designed for children and teenagers to surf internet without any fear of spamming and threat.
Dr. Anand Bhalerao, Principal, BV(DU)COE, Dr. A. A. Shinde, Head of the Electronics Department, Prof. Meena Chavan, Electronics Department, Dr K. B. Sutar, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department encouraged, guided and facilitated the students to present the projects in IISF-2018.
The 4th India International Science Festival (IISF-2018) was jointly organized by Department of Biotechnology of Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences at Indira Gandhi Foundation, Lucknow, in collaboration with Vijnana Bharti.
The certificates awarded herein were endorsed by renowned dignitaries like Dr Renu Swaroop, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, GOI, Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, President Vijnana Bharati, Program Coordinator for Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences.
