Bhiwandi building collapse – 1 dead, 6 rescued

Bhiwandi – A ground plus three floor building in Rasulabad area of village Khoni in the Bhiwandi taluka collapsed at around 8.30 pm on Tuesday.
The building was already vacated in the afternoon as a wall of the building was collapsed in the afternoon.

The building is about seven years old and located Survey No. 19 of village Khoni. Six persons have been rescued while body of deceased Khairunisaa Ismail Sayyad (25) was recovered from debris.

Earlier Thane Police had created green corridor for the NDRF personnel to reach the spot.
