BSF’s Ghosh wins first gold at the 13th All India Police Shooting(Sports) Championship 2020

Pimpri Chinchwad, 13th January 2020: Border Security Force’s S.K Ghosh won the first gold winning the 50M Free Pistol individual event at the 13th All India Police Shooting Sports championship organized by Maharashtra Police played at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Shooting Range at Mhalunge, Balewadi and Wadachi Wadi Firing Range, Undri, Pune.

In the 50 M Individual S.K.Ghosh won the gold , SSB Gaurav Dagar won the silver while Vikram Shinde won the Bronze

In the 50 M Team event SSB team comprising Gaurav Dagar 550.0, Vikram Shinde 550.0, Praveen Kumar 549.0 collectively shot 1649 to claim the gold

BSF team shooting 1616 and compromising S.K.Ghosh 550.0, Roopak Malik 535.0, Vivek Choudhery 531.0 won the silver while CRP with 1588.0(Dhirendra Kumar Singh 537.0, Tushar Singh 528.0, Gaurav Kumar Singh 523.0) won the bronze

Medals were given away at the hands of Indian Shooter Arjun Awardee Heena Sidhu and Shri Sandeep Bishnoi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Pimpri-Chinchwad.
