Builder injured in firing in Pimple Gurav

Pune – A builder was injured in a firing at a busy location in Pimple Gurav on Saturday around 11.30 am. Two bike-borne assailants fired at developer Yogesh Shelar (40) of Sangvi, police said.

The incident took place near Tulja Bhavani Mandir in Pimple Gurav. Police suspect the attack was due to past enmity.

After the incident sleuths from Pune city police crime branch and Sangvi police station rushed to the spot.

According to police, Shelar was shot when he was approaching his car after coming out of the temple. Shelar sustained two bullet injuries in his leg, while the attackers escaped. He has been admitted in a private hospital in Aundh.
