CENTRE FOR SOFTWARE AND IT MANAGEMENT AT IIMB TO CO-HOST INDIA SOFTWARE PRODUCT MANAGEMENT SUMMIT

09 SEPTEMBER 2019, Bengaluru: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) will co-host the 2nd India Software Product Management Summit, along with the International Software Product Management Association (ISPMA), on January 17 and 18 (Friday and Saturday), 2020.

The two-day event on January 17 and 18, 2020 will be the 2nd edition of the summit following the first successful summit in February 2019 that witnessed participation of over 150 delegates.

Professor Rajendra K. Bandi, Chairperson of the Centre for Software and IT Management at IIM Bangalore, said: “India is rapidly emerging as a strong hub for developing software products for the global markets, and it is essential that the industry and academia come together to create an ecosystem to share knowledge and best practices and also to build a community.”

The summit will cover the complete range of Software Product Management (SPM) topics through workshops, panel discussions, fireside chats, presentations on industry best practices and success stories, and academic papers. It will also include keynote addresses by internationally renowned experts of Software Product Management.

One of the highlights of the India SPM summit is the celebration of excellence in software product management, instituted to celebrate excellence in the software product management practices and showcase the best practices.
