CII to organise the 6th edition of the Food & Bev Tech in Pune
Confederation of Indian Industry is organising the 6th edition of the Food & Bev Tech exhibition and conference on the 14-15 December 2016 in Hyatt Regency, Pune. The Food & Bev Tech show has been a flagship event of CII focused on promoting the Food & Beverage industry in India. The Food processing sector is already one of the largest industries in India. However, given the huge growth potential that this sector still has, CII has been giving great thrust in promoting the food processing industry. This is the first time the event is being organised as a part of CII’s initiative to reach out to the tier – II cities like Pune. Government of Chhattisgarh will be the partner state for the event and would be present at the exhibition. Other government agencies like NABARD and APEDA will also be supporting the event.
The Food & Bev Tech event will have exhibitors and visitors from the food processing industry covering areas like – Machinery & Process Equipment’s, Refrigeration, Automation Process Control, Packaging, Logistics & Food Safety Technologies etc. The conference that is scheduled on 14 December will immensely benefit the food processing industry and will be an exclusive platform to interact and understand the important aspects of the food processing sector like food safety & regulatory trends, innovation and technology and other areas like impact of GST, branding, retail, etc.
