Positive response from the warkaris sect (pilgrim or the followers of Lord Vithoba) towards Directorate General of Information and Public Relation (DGIPR) initiative

Pandharpur, 12 July 2019: In an exhibition organized by Pandharpur’s, Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) named ‘Krushi Pandhari, Directorate General of Information and Public Relation (DGIPR) conveyed information about different Government Schemes. Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis also visited this exhibition today.

Agriculture Minister Dr.Anil Bonde, Animal Husbandry Minister Mahadevrao Jankar, MLC Prashant Paricharak, Babandada Shinde, Sudhakarpant Paricharak, Pune Division- Deputy Director Mohan Rathod, District Information Officer (DIO) of Solapur Ravindra Raut, Coordinator of the exhibition Titiksha Rajput were present.

During this exhibition, boards with explanatory visuals were installed to inform famers – warkaris about welfare-oriented schemes started by the Government of Maharashtra (GoM). CM Devendra Fadnavis reviewed these boards. CM took note of visitors count at the exhibition and also observed which visual board was frequently visited by the people. CM praised the initiative of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relation (DGIPR).

A chance to win Silver coin at the exhibition

A quiz was organized based on the various welfare-oriented schemes of different Government Departments. To participate in the quiz, visitors have to give missed call on 7498888877 and they will get an immediate call back. To win the quiz, the participant has to give right answers of three questions. First ten winners will get 10 gram Silver coin. Various prizes will be given to the other winners. In a short span of time more than one thousand people participated in this quiz.
