CME- Gynecon 2019 organized at AFMC, Pune 

Pune, September 7, 2019 : A national level CME- GYNECON 2019 is being organized at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune on 07 and 08 Sep 2019. The two day event is an academic feast with the theme ‘Current Practices in Obstetrics & Gynaecology’.

The conference was inaugurated by Surg V Adm Ravi Kalra NM, VSM, PHS, Director and Commandant, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune on 07 Sep 2019. The event will see experts covering the recent advances in a vast range of subjects in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

‘It is heartening to note that the organisers have included a quiz and a paper & poster competition for the post graduates’ said the Director and Commandant, AFMC.

The inaugural oration was given by Maj Gen Kishan Kapur, Commandant Officers’ Training College, Lucknow. He is a well known gynaecologist with expertise in endoscopy- the minimally invasive surgery (also known as keyhole surgery).

The inaugural oration, which was chaired by Maj Gen R M Gupta VSM, Dean & Dy Commandant, AFMC was attended by professionals in a hall packed to capacity.
