DDC Ramban flags off CCDU bus
RAMBAN, MARCH 19-As part of water sanitation week celebrations a special bus was flagged off today to disseminate awareness about water sanitation in various parts of the district Ramban.
MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh , District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar ,ADC, Babu Ram, CPO Parshotam Kumar, Xen PHE and Hyd, Hamesh Manchanda, Chief Medical Officer, Assistant Director Planning, engineers and other officers were present on th occasion .
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC exhorted upon the field functionaries to show full cooperation by leading the water testing teams to all fresh and drinking water resources to ensure safety and health of people.
Earlier, the Executive Engineer PHE informed that the touring bus shall be driven in the different villages for next four days and is equipped with water testing kits and experts who will make the people aware by testing the drinking water. He said the bus would spread awareness about the various techniques used for making the drinking water fit for common use.
