Pune, February 24,2020 : “Destiny has a major role to play in our life. But destiny partners up with hard work. If you work hard and work relentlessly, the universe will help you to achieve your goals and fulfill all your dreams. Your best critic is the one who talks to you from the mirror. If you can satisfy that critic, consider you have achieved it all. As Captain Vikram Batra has said “dil mange more”, we should do all in our power to be there on top and partner up in India’s progress. Being a better human being is as important as being a better student,” said Lt. Gen. CP Mohanty, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C Southern Command and Patron in Chief of AIT.

He was addressing as chief guest to the students of Army Institute of Technology (AIT) on the occasion of 26th foundation day. On this auspicious occasion chairman and managing director of Bharat Vikas Group (BVG) Hanmantrao Gaikwad was awarded ‘Best Entrepreneur Award’. Ravi Kumar, co-founder of ‘UdChalo’ was honored with ‘Best Young Entrepreneur’ award. This event was graced by the presence of patron AIT Lt. Gen. DS Ahuja (AVSM), Major Gen. Hanmant Gaikwad in his address to students said, “Just being good is not enough, you have to work hard to achieve excellence in whatever field you are working in and become best. To become best you have to toil and put all of your efforts towards it. Journey of BVG started with 8 people to reach 8000 workers now. This journey was not easy. I was only able to complete my education with the help of earn and learn scheme. It’s not how much money you make but how many lives you change by your work. We have a target of changing the lives of 10 crore people and creating 1000 entrepreneurs by 2030. 1 lac farmers have joined our mission of ‘reducing cost of cultivation and doubling the income’ till now. You should give your best in whatever you are doing and instead of seeking a job, you should become a job provider. You can achieve whatever you want. All the power lies within you.”
