Extend IT return filing limit of 31st March, CM Thackeray urges Union Finance Minister
Mumbai, Mar 19, 2020: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray urged the Union Finance Minister Normals Sitharaman to extend the limit if 31st March for filing the improved and late Income Tax returns for financial year if 2028-19.
Besides, he also requested the Finance Minister to extend TDS deposit limit of April 30 and to deposit of advance tax under 234 B.
Last date for depositing GST of Feb 2020 is 22nd March. The CM also requested the Finance Minister to extend this date.
In regard to late payment of tax the fine, fees and interest charged thereon should also be waived, the Chief Minister urged the Finance Minister.
