April 3, 2020: Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, a StartUp in the PathLab chain segment, today announced a COVID-19 self-assessment test on its website, wherein one just needs to answer a few questions to know whether she / he needs to get in touch with a doctor. This self-health assessment scan has been developed as per the guidelines laid down by WHO (World Health Organisation) & MOHFW (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), Government of India, to help individuals assess their risk of contracting COVID-19.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Aishwarya Vasudevan, Chief Operating Officer, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited said, “Given the present scenario, where the entire world is combating a fast-spreading deadly virus, a tool like this will help people at large to understand their risk and will help reduce the panic amongst them considering a fever or cough may be just a seasonal flu or fever.”

All one needs to do is feed in her / his age and gender; and answer few questions pertaining to current living situation, nature of job, location of job, smoking habits, recent international travel, recent domestic travel, contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case, symptoms experience, medical history and medications taken.

Basis the self-assessment, one may decide if she / he needs to get in touch with a doctor.
