First stomach disease cure mobile centre in India launched in Maharashtra

Mumbai, 10th December 2019: CM Uddhav Thackeray told that the mobile medical van in India is Padma  Dr. Amit Maydeo’s concept. Poor and needy patients can get best treatment for stomach diseases through the medium of this mobile van.

CM Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated the stomach disease treatment mobile centre- ‘Endoscopy on Wheels’ today at the legislature premises. Endoscopy on Wheels is a collaborative initiative by the Government of Maharashtra and Baldota Institute of Digestive Science.

CM  Thackeray said that ‘Endoscopy on Wheels’ is Padma  Dr. Amit Maydeo’s concept. It is first of its type in India and the prestigious thing that it is being launched in Maharashtra first. Government of Maharashtra and Baldota Institute has collaboratively started this mobile medical treatment centre to provide poor and needy patients from the rural and inaccessible area with the latest and best medical treatment.

This concept is derived from the feeling of social gratitude and it will soon come to reality. This mobile van centre has an operation theatre equipped with all the latest facilities. Two experts and technicians will be on duty in this van to provide medical services. H-pylori, cancer diagnosis, intestine ulcer, biopsy, intestine swelling diagnosis, and acidity etc. medical problems will be treated through the medium of this van. Dr. Maydeo said that Endoscopy on Wheels is started to provide free of cost immediate diagnosis and best medical treatment to the patients and the van will be on wheels in the whole state for the whole year.

Narendra Kumar Baldota and family gave the fund and took initiative for this van. Free of cost services will be provided under this initiative. Awareness will be created in people about the causes and treatments on stomach diseases through the medium of this van. In case of the need for expert advice, Dr. Maydeo will personally guide doctors on duty in this van centre. Global Hospital’s Director Dr. Amit Maydeo will take charge and look after the proceedings of this van.
