Grad Show 2016 of MIT Institute of  Design to unleash world class and out of the box design projects ideated by its  students

Pune, Friday April 1, 2016:  MIT Institute of Design ( MITID) is organizing a special event which has gained recognition in the Design arena called as the “Grad Show 2016” from 1st – 3rd  April at the Sant Dnyaneshwar Hall ,MIT Kothrud Campus and from 4th to 6th at the MIT ID Loni campus.
Role of design is becoming more impactful than ever and organizations from diverse
sectors are exploring ways to engage with design. As design intersects with different domains, new frontiers are opening up.

MITID Grad Show 2016 is an attempt to explore these intersections. Come join us in this endeavor and celebrate the work of the graduating batch of MIT ID amid stimulating discussions, interactive workshops and product demonstrations.

Industry professionals from design studios, MNCs and start-ups from various disciplines of Design will be sharing their insights and experiences. Industry veterans to young entrepreneurs will talk on a broad range of topics and will ensure that the discussions are engaging and enriching for all.

As part of the event, a special exhibition to showcase the design talent of the Graduating students has also been organized and will be inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Mangesh Karad – ED & Trustee MIT Group of Institutions along with other dignitaries.

200+ students will graduate from MIT ID and enter into the professional world of Design. These students will be putting up around 200 stalls of their Diploma projects from a diverse range of industries.

This event is a platform for eminent design-led organizations and professionals to present their experience and share the value that design contributes to the growth of society.

This is an open event put up at the Kothrud campus for the first three days and the last three days will be at Loni campus.  April 1 – 6, 2016 an entire week of design – full events.

The last day will see the hard working students graduate at the convocation where Dr. V. D. Karad is the chief guest.

This is open to the public to come and attend and see the creations by these young dynamic and creative minds.  Entry – free of cost.
