GTU launches three Smart City e-courses First time in India
100 Smart city initiative of Govt of India is moving ahead. It can speed up as expected if sound capacity building plans are taking place to support smart city initiative. In this context, Graduate School of Smart Cities Development of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is holding smart city training workshops periodically for Municipal officials and engineers on all india basis.to impart knowledge on smart cities planning and Development.
Furthermore now GTU is also offering four very relevant online e-courses on smart cities development as under.
1. Smart Cities Planning and Development.
2. Project Management in Smart Cities.
3. Application of Solar Energy for Smart Cities.
4. Green Buildings in Smart Cities.
The courses will start in January 2016 for 16 week duration,
Successful candidates will be given GTU certificate,
Dr. Rajnikant Patel, Director of Graduate School of Smart Cities Development said that these being e-courses, large number of participants can acquire knowledge at home while continuing working as Municipal officials, engineers and consultants, Such training would induce speedier implementation of Indian smart cities project,
