Holi Special train from Pune to Darbhanga fills 65 % berths in one day

Pune, March 19,2019 : The Pune division of Indian railways has decided to run a special train from Pune to Darbhanga and return to facilitate passengers during Holi.

Special train number 01429 departed on Tuesday (March 19), from Pune at 9.35 pm and will reach Darbhanga at 11.45 am on Thursday (March 21). There are 15 sleeper coaches in the train. On Tuesday, out of 1080 total berths in the train, 709 were booked, which means only 65.65 % berths were booked. Railways had issued a circular about the train a day in advance , and sent text messages to people having waiting ticket for other trains on the route.

The special train (01430) will depart from Darbhanga on Friday, March 22 at 10 pm and arrive at Pune on Sunday (March 24) at 12.40 noon.

This train has stops at Lonavla, Karjat, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusawal, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Allahabad Chhinwi, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Pataliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur stations on the way.
