IIA India announces the National Conference on New Skills for the Internal Auditor

New Delhi, 19th February 2016: The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India and IIA Delhi Chapter organized an Annual Conference 2016 on “New skills for the internal auditor”. The Institute of Internal Auditors, India is affiliated to its parents body IIA, Inc in Florida, USA. The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Inc was established in 1941 and is an international professional association of more than 170,000 members. Throughout the world, The IIA is recognized as the internal audit profession’s leaders in certification, education, research and technical guidance. IIA, Inc also conducts several certification programs and members in India can take these programs at all chapter locations.

The key note speaker was  Mr. Richard Chambers, President & CEO, The IIA Inc., and he spoke on   the theme Internal Auditing: Today’s Opportunities – Tomorrow’s Solutions”.  The sessions had various relevant topics for the internal auditors and the panelists which comprised of reputed professionals from India & overseas.

Commenting on the conference, Mr. Richard Chamber President & CEO, The IIA Inc said, “IIA India is other reflection and is important in India. The profession is emerging rapidly and the internal profession is also emerging in India. Program here was designed to provide internal auditors- a better understanding and skills”.

Mr. Nikhel  Kochhar, President, IIA Delhi Chapter said, “With over 300 participants, it is the IIA Delhi’s most successful event which has provided delegates with an amazing experience to educate themselves as well as network with fellow professionals in Internal Audit. The visit and keynote address by Richard Chambers has been a huge motivator for all of us”.
