India Rubber Expo 2019 brings to showcase and brings new opportunities to our nation

June 11, 2018, Pune: International Expo of the fraternity of India’s rubber industry, ‘The India Rubber Expo (IRE), 2019 is going to be is going to be held in Mumbai on the 17-19 January, 2010, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The 10th Expo aims to be a valuable platform for growth, exchange and collaboration at an international level. The expo is orgsnised by All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), established in 1945.
Today in Pune, at an promotional event of the expo – The IRE 2019 Road Show (Pune) addressed by Mr. Vikram Makar, Chairman (IRE)also Chairman and MD (Oriental Rubber Industries Pvt Ltd.), MR. Vishnu Bhimrajkar, Chief Convener (IRE 2019) and Vinod Bansal Chairan WR, (AIRIA) briefed the media about the Expo.
Addressing the media, Mr. Bhimrsajakr said that, since this the 10th expo it is a big milestone of the India’s Rubber Industry. We are hoping for many domestic companies to participate in the workshops held during the Expo. We are expecting around 300 exhibitors this year. Mr. Makar is hoping that this expo will help India Rubber Industry to create a valuable position globally. He also counts upon the privatisation of the steel. Coal, ect industries to mek it self sufficient and sustainable growth. Mr. Bansal compared our industry with China and shared the vision of meeting shoulders with the nation (China).
When asked about the situation of cheap import of natural rubber, the podium members told that this import highly affects the economy of our country. If you review the prices internationally countries like Indonesia create more natural rubber, which in turn helps the manufacturers. Commenting on the support from the government, they said that they get 0% help.
“There are many good policies and it is also executed by the government, but still needs more focus on the Rubber industry,” told one of the podium members to Punker News.
Debuted in 2001, this Expo and Conference brings great opportunity Rubber Industry fraternity to interact internationally.
