ISSF medal for Shooting Coach Pawan Singh

Pune, September 7th: Pawan Singh, a renowned former shooting coach of Indian Shooting Team was awarded by International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF)recently in Delhi. Raninder Singh, Member of the ISSF Executive Committee presented this award to Pawan Singh for his exceptional contribution to the field of shooting. The award comprises of a Bronze medal and a certificate.

Pawan Singh is the youngest Indian who has been honored by ISSF after the time span of almost 70 years. He is also the first awardee of Maharashtra to receive this honor.

Pawan Singh has the experience and expertise in the field of equipment control. He was the jury member and an equipment control officer for many national as well as international shooting championships. He himself has achieved many medals in national shooting championships. Besides, Pawan also has vast experience in the field of equipment control, organizing international level shooting competitions and testing Pellets and Ammunition for Rifles and Pistols.

Looking at his exceptional knowledge in the field Pawan Singh has been invited by ISSF to address the ‘ISSF World Cup Organizing Committee Workshop 2016’. Organized for the second consecutive year, in this workshop expertise will talk about the modification in the rules of shooting for the upcoming world cup and Tokyo Olympics, the additional responsibilities that coaches, players and organizing committee members have to carry.
