Kushal CREDAI and MahaRERA to start Quality Assurance Certification Course for site engineers
Pune, January 25, 2020: In order to upgrade the skills and knowledge of site supervising engineers over the quality of the construction, Kushal CREDAI-Pune Metro with the assistance of MahaRERA will launch a three-day quality assurance certification course. This course is recognized by Construction Skills Development Council, India (CSDCI).
All the housing projects that are registered with MahaRERA after December 1, 2018 will have to fill up a special form 2A which is focused on the quality of construction material and construction processes. The site engineers are expected to fill this form thus certifying the quality of construction. There are 5000 projects registered with MahaRERA out of which 1500 to 1600 projects have already filled the form 2A.
J.P Shroff said, “In Maharashtra there are 17,000 projects that includes 50,000 engineers. This quality assurance certification course will be of 24 hours and will take place on three consecutive Saturdays. The course will include classroom training, Lab training and assessment of the engineers.”
Suhas Merchant stated, “CREDAI-Pune Metro is making an attempt to facilitate uploading of the quality assurance test reports on Cloud Technology for at least 5 years.’’
