letter of Allotment for BKC plot handed over to Japanese construction firm Bandra-Kurla complex

Mumbai, July 17, 2019 –The official letter of allotment of land piece C65 at BKC of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to Goisu Realty Private Limited from Japan was handed over to President of the company Kojun Nishima by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Stating that Bandra Kurla complex was ideal place for business in Mumbai and in country Fadnavis expressed confidence that after International Financial Center comes up the BKC would be hub for global activities.

Consul of Japan in India Masahido Soto, director of te company Hisatoshi Katayama, editing section chief Raiju Amamia, MMRDA commissioner R A Rajeev and additional commissioner Sanjay Khandare were present for the function held at Sahyadri Guest House on Wednesday.

Goisu Realty is accompany in construction field in Japan and Sumotomo Realty Development which is a subsidiary company of Goisu is going to make investment in India under foreign direct investment. Under this the C65 land piece is given to Goisu company on lease for Rs. 2238 crores and the company is going built a building on 12 thousand 486square metres.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said that there are offices of big companies in BKC and Sumotomo company of Goisu would prosper in next five years after invesing in BKC. He said that this moment of cooperation between MMRDA and Sumotomo is going to be important taking in to account future. Stating that it was the biggest deal in construction field Fadnavis said that this deal would pave way for new investments.

Giving information about BKC, commissioner Rajeev said that BKC is growing with a big speed and more and more global companies are investing in BKC.

Mr. Nishima said that Goisu was the leader company in construction industry in Japan. He said that company decided to invest in Mumbai since Mumbai was best suited for business. He said that company would be investing in Mumbai in coming days and it would contribute for the development of the state of Maharashtra.
