Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the re-located Mantralaya branch of Bank of Maharashtra

Mumbai, January 18, 2018: Maharashtra Chief Minister, Shri. Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated re-located Bank of Maharashtra branch at the Mantralaya here in Mumbai. Present at the occasion were Water Resources Minister Shri. Girish Mahajan, Chief Secretary Shri. Sumit Mallik and Shri. RP Marathe, MD and CEO, Bank of Maharashtra, at Nariman Point, Mumbai.

“I feel very connected with this Bank. Bank of Maharashtra gives the feeling of oneness among Maharashtrians, as we feel that Bank of Maharashtra is our own Bank,” expressed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Bank of Maharashtra has always been on the forefront in contributing towards the development of the state. Taking this responsibility forward, the Bank believes that this branch set inside the Mantralaya premises will definitely facilitate various Deaprtments of the State Govt.and its staff to transact banking operations with ease and comfort.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri. R.P. Marathe, MD and CEO, Bank of Maharashtra said, “The trust and faith that our customers have reposed in us, along with the support of the State Government will go a long way in strengthening our hands to serve the society better . The Bank shall continue to strive to offer best facilities to its customers”.

Mr. Marathe further added that, the bank is taking steps to make digital transactions smooth and seamless for all our customers. We have also empowered all our employees in creating awareness and educating customers about the same. The bigger purpose is to drive the state towards adopting digital banking solutions”.

While congratulating the Bank for all its achievements and its efforts in facilitating the development of the state, the Chief Minister said, “I wish Bank of Maharashtra and its employees the very best. I hope that the Bank continues to prosper in a consistent manner as that would help in contineously enriching the State’s treasury and Bank’s health. I will provide all the help that the bank needs in achieveing this mutual goal.”
