Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited various wards at Maihar and heard people’s problems on Tuesday. He said that Maihar would be made Smart City. A sum of Rs. 25 crore is being sanctioned for developing Smart City.

Shri Chouhan said that door-to-door waste collection, power generation from waste products, installation of CCTV cameras in entire city, construction of drains, auditorium and beautification of Vishnu Sagar lake will be undertaken at Maihar.

Grand temple of Sant Ravidas to be constructed

After having Devi-Darshan, the Chief Minister visited temple of Sant Ravidas and garlanded his idol. He said that a grand temple would be constructed there by allotting land adjoining the temple to temple committee.

Handcuffs for mafia, shanties to poor

Shri Chouhan said that land mafias will be handcuffed and the poor will be given pattas for construction of shanties. He directed to undertake survey for patta distribution. Shri Chouhan directed to hold greater camp at Maihar in January where commissioner and collector will solve people’s problems. Health camps will also be held.

At Ward-9, the Chief Minister sipped tea at residences of Uttam Prajapati and Amar Valmeek and gave a patient hearing to their problems. He directed to give assistance for treatment of Rahul Malik’s daughter Vaishnavi. At Idgah Mohalla, the Chief Minister had tea at residence of Mohammad Nafees. At Sarai Mohalla also, he heard people’s problems and directed for on the spot solution.

On Agrawal Samaj’s appeal, the Chief Minister announced to include Agroha Dham in Hissar district of Haryana in Mukhyamantri Tirth-Darshan Yojana.

Former MLA Shri Narayan Tripathi informed about local problems. Public Representatives and officers were present on the occasion.
