Speaking to Punekarnews.in, activist Aslam Isak Bagwan from Incredible Group said, “This is not only a hunger strike against CAA but also a Satyagrah. I am on my strike for the past three days waiting for the government to listen. We will continue the strike until they listen to us.”

He further said, “Through Satyagraha, we will take various initiatives. On January 21 we covered Cleanliness Satyagraha, on January 22 we distributed water at District Collector Office, and today on January 23 we conducted Signature campaign.”

“On January 24, we will conduct no petrol day through which our motive is to use the less personal or individual vehicle and we asked everyone to use public transportation which is again eco-friendly and will lead to less traffic on the roads,” he added.

Ekta Satyagraha, which will be to read Bible, Bhagavad Gita, and Quran, will be conducted on January 25. On January 26 even if the office is closed we will come together to celebrate Republic Day, he informed.

He further added, “January 27 will be for banners in which people will create handwritten banners on their vehicles which will showcase no CAA, no NRC, and on NPR. On 28 January we will initiate a step towards economic crisis. Participants in this Economy Crisis Satyagraha will have to withdraw money from their bank accounts for the day.”

“The companies which are against the Constitution will be banned for the day. This will be done by boycotting their products and services. Lastly, we will initiate tree plantation on 30th January towards the green and clean environment,” he added.

Aslam further said that “The Satyagraha will be continued further if the Chief Minister does not hold the meeting with us.”
