Mandatory to give holiday or concession to private offices, industrial workers for voting

Mumbai, April 26:- All the employees, workers of private offices, establishments, shops, Industries, malls, commercial complexes should be given paid leave or sufficient concession for casting their votes in the Lok Sabha election. The state labor Commissioner office clarified this, stating that it is mandatory.

For exercising the franchise, the provision of paid leave of concession has been sanctioned. If anybody does not get paid leave or such concession for voting they should give the complaint including details of the name, details of polling area, full name of the establishment or firm, their address, phone number, cell phone number, name of the establishment and its owner or manager, their phone number and cell number and send it to Bruhan Mumbai Municipal Corporation chief facilitator ( telephone number 022 243 11 1751) related Municipal Corporation ward offices or shop departments. The complaint can also be filed with the office of Labor Commissioner, Kamgar Bhavan, C020, E-Block, Bandra -Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai (telephone number 022 2265 7383) and (022 26573844). Complaints related to industrial area can be lodged with the Director, industrial security and health directorate, Kamgar Bhavan 5th floor C-20 E-Block, Bandra -Kurla Complex, Bandra (East) Mumbai (telephone number 022 265 7250 4) and (022 26572509).
