Also, design of the shed is such that it does not block the space on footpath.   Each of this new bus shed requires around Rs. 3 lack for its construction, informed Siddharth Shirole.

MP Anil Shirole said, ‘‘Bus stops or bus sheds at many locations in the city are very old, also some of these bus stops do not have proper seating arrangement. In my view, these newly  designed stainless steel bus sheds can be an answer to this problem. These sheds are not only passenger friendly, but they keep enough space on the footpath open for walking. I am glad to aid PMPML as I can see this service showing positive change. I’m sure that this it will be more accessible and user friendly near future.’’
