NATIONAL TENT PEGGING CHAMPIONSHIP – 2016 & PUNJAB HORSE SHOW – 2016
National Defence Academy Riding & Polo Team participated in National Tent Pegging Championship – 2016 & Punjab Horse Show – 2016 from 08 Mar to 13 Mar 16 at Jalandhar (Punjab). The team under the dynamic leadership of Lt Col Vivek Rehni, Equitation Training Officer at NDA bagged 07 Gold, 10Silver & 06 Bronze medals & brought laurels to the National Defence Academy.
Punjab Horse Show is a very important championship. It is a run-up to the Delhi Horse Show, which is a major event in India. Equestrian clubs and academies from all over the country take part in the tourney and it’s a great opportunity for a young rider to show his mettle.
