NDA fifth term cadet commits suicide

Pune – A cadet of the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging on Sunday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Alekh Jaiswal, who studied in fifth term of the three year course at the prestigious academy. He was found hanging in his room on the ground floor of the ‘H’ squadron at 5.15 pm. The cadet was immediately rushed to the Military Hospital, Khadakwasla, but could not be revived. The local police and his parents have been informed about the tragic incident, NDA officials stated in a press release.

Jaiswal was a Navy cadet and was pursuing Bsc (computer science). He was from Sainik School, Ambikapur, Chhatisgarh.
